McKenna Centre Presents: The John Friel Xtalk On Social Justice

Named to honour the legacy of the late Judge John C. Friel, a dedicated StFX alumnus, the Hon. Frank McKenna established the Judge John C. Friel Student X Talks Series -- a speaker series designed to enhance student advocacy.

The inaugural event was a TedX style event co- hosted by the McKenna Centre and the StFX Students’ Union, held on January 24, 2017 in the Bauer Theatre. It featured student speakers addressing the theme of justice to honour Judge Friel’s exemplary career.
