Coronavirus: Deputy PM Freeland announces CEBA application deadline extended to Oct. 31 | FULL

Canada's Deputy Prime Minister and Fiance Minister Chrystia Freeland announced on Monday that the deadline for Canadian businesses to apply for the Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) will be extended to Oct. 31, 2020 and that any issues for those who run their business through a personal account will be accommodated.

She also discussed the Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance (CERCRA) on Monday, saying that the government is "committed to finding ways to support" small business and also made a plea to landlords to do their part to help small businesses until the country gets past the COVID-19 pandemic.

Canada's Health Minister Patty Hajdu on Monday spoke about the roll out of COVID-19 vaccines once one has been approved and said the majority of Canadians see the importance of a vaccine, but added that it isn't mandatory in Canada.
