True stories of how God worked in Category A High-Security Belmarsh Prison, and Category B Lewes and Bristol prisons. Rev. Dave Powe worked as a Prison Chaplain for 25 years among hardened criminals, armed robbers, murderers and even very famous criminals - and tells how he saw multitudes of them find faith in Christ in over the years. Some stories are truly miraculous and others funny. Definitely worth listening to!!
This evening was hosted by or run on behalf of local churches in the Ewell, Epsom, Banstead, Cheam, Sutton and surrounding areas to anyone interested in hearing about a hidden world behind bars that few of us will ever see! There was some live Q & A at the end. David has three books written by his wife (Gillian Powe) about his exploits - 'Christ Behind Bars', 'The Cross Between Thieves' and 'The Final Verdict' - available on Amazon.
