The French National Assembly asks questions to the government and discusses further steps in the ongoing coronavirus crisis on Tuesday, May 5. The question round is expected to revolve around the plans to start easing restrictions on May 11.
The country has announced an extension of the state of emergency until July 24, making it mandatory for anyone travelling into the country to go into a two-week quarantine.
France has reported over 168,000 cases of coronavirus since the start of the outbreak, while at 24,763 people have died with the virus as of Sunday afternoon.
