House Democrats filed articles of impeachment against President Trump today, making him just the fourth U.S. president to be so charged. The Judiciary Committee could vote as soon as Thursday on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress against the Commander in Chief. But assuming the measures pass in the House, Senate Republicans and Vice President Mike Pence have indicated they will strongly oppose them. To discuss, Jim Braude was joined by David Gergen, a former adviser to Presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Clinton, now a professor at the Harvard Kennedy School.
